Day 3 of Swiss Delegation Mission Marks Key Advancements Across Universities, Hospitals, and Industry


Da Nang, Vietnam — 24 November 2025

On the third day of its official mission to Da Nang, the SwissCham ASIA delegation, led by Dr. Urs Lustenberger—together with Singularity Academy and Verus Care Group—led by Prof Dr Ying Zhang, held a series of high-level meetings with the city’s leading academic, medical, and corporate institutions. The discussions marked a significant step forward in strengthening Swiss–Vietnamese collaboration in talent development, education innovation, arbitration expertise, and integrative healthcare.

Strategic Engagement with Da Nang University of Economics

In the morning, the Swiss delegation met with Da Nang University of Economics, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector. Both sides explored:

  • Joint development of arbitration and legal training pathways, enabling top Vietnamese students to learn from Switzerland’s globally respected expertise;

  • Mechanisms to support international mobility and exposure for students in business, finance, leadership, law, and technology;

  • The design of dual-degree and joint academic programs in global leadership, finance, business, law, and artificial intelligence;

  • Collaboration to build future talent pipelines for the Da Nang International Financial Center (IFC) and overseas Vietnamese professional networks.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to develop a long-term cooperation framework between the two institutions.


Expanding Healthcare & Medical Science Cooperation

In the afternoon, the Swiss delegation met with senior representatives of major universities and hospitals across Da Nang, including:

  • Da Nang General Hospital

  • Da Nang Traditional Medicine Hospital

  • Da Nang Family Hospital

  • Da Nang Medical University

  • Duy Tan University

  • Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy

  • Other medical and academic institutions


Discussions focused on:

  • Talent development programs in medicine, mental health, and healthcare leadership;

  • Clinical and medical science exchange, drawing on Switzerland and Germany’s advanced healthcare experience;

  • Co-developed training modules—online and onsite—between Vietnamese universities and Singularity Academy;

  • Opportunities for collaboration with Verus Care Group, particularly in integrative mind–body care, family-centered mental-health treatment, and systemic therapy models.

The institutions expressed strong interest in advancing these initiatives through structured partnerships.


Strategic Dialogue with Sun Group Central Vietnam

Later in the day, the delegation held a high-level working session with Sun Group Central Vietnam, meeting with:

  • The President, Mr. Binh

  • Deputy CEO

  • Vice Chairman


Key topics included:

  • Development of employee training programs and global leadership development models;

  • Opportunities for cooperation on future international school projects in Da Nang;

  • Exchange on financial management frameworks and international governance;

  • Potential collaboration in frontier medical technologies and advanced healthcare development.


Sun Group reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with SwissCham ASIA and Singularity Academy on strategic initiatives that contribute to Da Nang’s long-term development.
