October 29, 2024, Switzerland – A delegation from SwissCham Asia, represented by Dr. Urs Lustenberger, Mr. Tuck Seng Low, and Prof. Dr. Ying Zhang, met with officials from Kuching, Malaysia, led by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department of Sarawak, Malaysia, Mr. Yang Berhormat Datuk Gerawat Gala. The meeting was also attended by Safrizan Abdul Karim, representing the Embassy of Malaysia in Switzerland.
The session focused on sharing Switzerland’s best practices in immigration and labor policies, offering the Malaysian delegation valuable insights into strategies for managing workforce migration and regulatory frameworks. The dialogue also explored the fast development of hydrogen application in the transportation field, as well as the potential avenues for ongoing collaboration between SwissCham Asia and Malaysian organizations in the coming years, aiming to strengthen knowledge exchange and foster mutual growth.
