Europe Asia Quarterly: a new journal for our community
Zurich, 30 September 2026 — The first issue of Europe Asia Quarterly (ISSN 3043-2324) is published today. The new quarterly journal is published by Singularity Academy in Zurich, with SwissCham ASIA as its collaborating partner.
For our members, the journal builds on a familiar partnership. From September 2024 to June 2026, SwissCham ASIA circulated ASIA BRIEF, the monthly publication of Singularity Academy on Asia's economic and business environment. Europe Asia Quarterly carries that work forward and widens it to the whole relationship between Europe and Asia — one quarter per issue, grounded in documented sources, and written for business leaders, scholars and policymakers.
What the first issue shows
Vol. 1, No. 1 covers July to September 2026. Its finding: Europe and Asia remain connected, but the terms of their connection are changing. Governments in both regions are competing over security and technology and cooperating where interests meet, while trade, production and investment continue to link the two regions.
